How to Clean up car seats before you buy
A few years ago, a friend of mine noticed that her son’s car seats had been completely scratched up by a pet turtle.
She bought a cleaning kit and began cleaning her sons car seats, using the cleaner in a dishwasher.
After several hours of washing, the scratches were gone.
However, the cleaning had left marks on the sides of the seats and the back of the seat cushions, so she took the seats to a local car wash and was shocked to see that there were still scratches and abrasions.
She was worried that the turtle would eat the seat cushion, but she was concerned enough about the scratches to ask her friend to buy a cleaning product for the seats, which she used as a substitute for the turtle.
After washing, her son was able to keep his car seats in their original condition and was able keep his seats in good condition for many years to come.
